Armin van Buuren is the “most dangerous celebrity in the world”

Armin van Buuren is the most dangerous celebrity on the internet, according to Intel Security’s annual ratings, the Guardian reports.

The online security firm’s 2015 rankings show that van Buuren has ousted Jimmy Kimmel as the celebrity most likely to land web searchers on a page with malwar or a virus. Searching online for Armin van Buuren comes with an almost 18-percent chance that you’ll land on a dodgy site – just slightly more than country star Luke Bryan, R&B stalwart Usher, and Britney Spears.

The Dutch trance hero has embraced the notoriety, publishing the Guardian’s story on his Facebook page and daring fans in New York to spend Halloween with the “most dangerous celebrity in the world,” at his Pier 04 show on Friday 30 October.
