All your favourite local DJs are heading to schoolies this year

For Australia’s school leavers, Schoolies Week is a tradition as old as time. And in 2015, the annual celebration of life after Year 12 is going turbo-charged with the debut of a new party brand promising to bring some of Australia’s biggest DJs to the Gold Coast.

Schoolies Do It Better will kick off for the first time this November with a cast of Melbourne and beyond’s biggest names delivering the soundtrack. Will Sparks, Joel Fletcher and Tigerlily are among the local titans locked in for this year’s celebration, with everyone from Some Blonde DJ to Mashd N Kutcher and Slice N Dice backing them up.

Schoolies Do It Better – a joint venture between Lucky Ent, Loud Entertainment and That Sound Agency – is “designed to give school leavers the ultimate Schoolies experience” in a “safe, positive and fun environment”. The team behind the new venture will be hosting several Schoolies events, including seven separate parties at Melbas Super Club with over 20 DJs playing per night. A one day beach bash and a special pool party are also planned.

The party kicks off on November 28 in the Gold Coast and runs until December 6. Get all the info through the website. [Photo by
