34 unreleased demos in 60 minutes: Duck Sauce drops new mix

Following a standout session on the Essential Mix earlier this year, Duck Sauce is back with more dancefloor magic. The production partnership of Armand van Helden and A-Trak has been on a hot streak in 2013 with a pair of club burners “It’s You” and “Radio Stereo”, and the spark is alive in their DJing too.

New on the Duck Sauce SoundCloud is this hour-long ‘Duck Tape’ featuring “all original material”, including those singles and no less than 34 unreleased demos. The mixtape comes with a distinct disco feel, cut together with the hip hop sensibility we know well from A-Trak. You can download the ‘Duck Tape’ below, then head to the duo’s official website for the Limited Edition t-shirt and cassette bundle.

While Armand and A-Trak have been spinning together since they released the single aNYway in ‘09, we’re still waiting on that elusive debut album from the pair. Admittedly, both have busy solo careers on the go, too: over the past couple of years, AVH has toured everywhere from Russia to Indonesia while A-Trak’s been busy running the Fool’s Gold label, releasing his own music and hosting arenas at festivals across the summer.
